Trivia – Where did all started?

Trivia comes from the Latin word trivialis. By definition, the term trivia refers to small pieces of information, often of small importance. It is why it’s sometimes known as useless trivia, or questions we don’t necessarily need to know the answer to. In other words, our sole existence doesn’t rely on it :).

However, nowadays, trivia questions have merged into worldwide contests that gained a lot of popularity. They are being played all over the world, whether we’re talking about TV contests, radio or bar trivia.

The board game Trivial Pursuit was released in 1981 in the US and boy, what a success that was. And still is.

Triviaso.com – Never Stop Learning!

We plan to add new random trivia questions on a daily basis. They will all range in terms of difficulty, starting from easy to difficult, and from funny to serious questions.
